8 Morning Hack You NEED!
Mornings are tough. Especially as the weather gets cooler and darker. I don’t know about you but man it is hard to get up in the mornings these days! I figured it was for you too so here are MY FAVORITE MORNING HACKS YOU NEED!
#1 Morning Hack – Make Your To-Do List The Night Before
My absolute favorite morning hack of all time is to make my to-do list for tomorrow the night before. As I get into my bed or whip around the house tidying and turning off lights things trigger my memory. I have my calendar and my notebook and jot down everything.
If you don’t do notebooks and calendars TEXT YOURSELF!! This is the best thing I ever started doing! It’s going to change your life!!
#2 Morning Hack- Keep Your Blinds Open
Sleeping past the alarm can be hard on dark days but a great morning hack that is proven to work wonders for getting up on time is to keep the blinds open. You will slowly be woken up as the sun gets up.
#3 Morning Hack- Drink A Cold Glass Of Water For Instant Energy
If you have a hard time getting energy and actually waking up and getting going with your day this morning hack is for you. I am a coffee addict. Addict seems like an understatement. I am obsessed with coffee. But I have tried this hack and swear by it. Drinking a cold glass of water wakes up the organs and nerve endings so that your brain literally turns on. #4 Morning Hack- Shower At Night
As a mom to 5 little ones I truly love this morning hack. By hair is clean and my legs are shaven when my feet hit the floor! This gives me a 30 to 45 minute head start than if I was to jump in the shower When I get up in the morning. I still have to do my hair and makeup in the morning but I don’t have the bother of washing or even wet hair, as it had the chance to air dry all night!
I started showering at night back when my 3rd was a newborn. The kids started needing baths before bed because they were do dirty from the day and dinner a quick bath was required! So I figured hey why not!! Makes everything in the morning better!!
#5 Morning Hack – Pack Lunches The Night Before
This goes for school aged kids as well as adults who need to get out the door for work or school! Packing a lunch the night before helps you save money and time. All you have to do is remember to take it as you run out the door 😉
#6 Morning Hack- Pre-made Breakfasts
This morning hack is HUGE!! My kids cannot function on cold cereal. They are hungry before they are done clearing their bowls. My kids NEED a hot breakfast. But hot breakfast takes time and mess. And nobody wants that on a busy week-day morning.
So pre-make your breakfasts ahead of time and freeze them.
There are so many good things you can make and freeze for a quick fry and go or grab and go.

- Breakfast Burritos
- Pancake Mix
- Toaster Waffles
- Banana Bread
- Zucchini Bread
- French Toast Dipper Sticks

#7 Create A Morning Basket
Whether your a home school mom, working mom, or you don’t have kids at all this is a great hack. Sometimes in the morning you can feel like you are going a hundred different directions. Which in fact can waste time. By creating a basket with all the hair essentials and make up you and have everything you need in one place and carry it where you go.
Also a great morning hack is to keep a basket of socks near the door.
Mornings can be hectic and it is SO easy to run behind. I hope these 7 morning hacks help you stay on track and defeat your unproductive mornings! 🙂
