Achieve A Mysterious Air of Elegance
Throughout the centuries of starlets and Hollywood beauties we have come across several all time beauties we can aspire to mimic.
Usually appearing from the 30’s 40’s and 50’s these woman all held similar traits and mystery.
Yet the question that always begs an answer is how to become more like these beautiful woman.
Is it the way they dressed, stood, did their makeup or the way they spoke?
Usually it is all of those things. But today we are going to talk about the most untouched of all the traits.
What quality creates a Mysterious Air of Elegance?
Thinking back to the old movies and their stars…..
- Grace Kelly
- Anne Baxter
- Elizabeth Taylor
- Doris Day
- Audrey Hepburn
- Marilyn Monroe
- Judy Garland
- Sophia Loren
- Celeste Holm
Just to name a quick few. If you want you can look them up HERE.
I have studied these beautiful woman, especially Grace Kelly for 2 decades now. There is something about that woman that made an entire country take notice. I craved to know it and resemble it.
I like most woman do not have the Grace Kelly cheek bones. Nor do I possess the elegant accent that turned heads. But that didn’t stop me.
Through my years of study, I discovered one things about these beautiful people that lacks from today society in such a painful way. It’s the Mysterious Air of Elegance.
Every one of these beautiful woman knew how to hold their bodies like they had a secret. Each one spoke like the lives were private. And moved with intention and grace.
#2 Fire and Ice
Each vintage actress of course was their own person. Some were bubblier than others, some more sensual. Just like woman today their were each their own unique beauty. They each brought to life their own spark!
This was the intrigue to finding out more about what the similar element was about them.
I finally discovered it! Fire and Ice! They all had it. Their passion for life mixed with the perfect amount of restraint.
Every picture screams mystery. They all held the perfect mysterious air of elegance.
#3 Don’t Flaunt It
“Maybe she has fire and ice and great passion, but she does not flaunt it.” Alfred Hitchcock
Grace Kelly never flaunted her passion or elegance. She was who she was and she didn’t care what people thought of it. Grace wore white gloves everywhere, not because it was the fashion but because she was raised that way. She kept an elegance and poise about her that her other peers weren’t even flaunting to that degree. Her sisters and she were raised to hold her head high, to stand tall, and to accomplish as much as possible and she set those same rules for herself. She didn’t flaunt this elegance and success she merely was them.
I think this is the golden key to ultimate elegance. Becoming unapologetically yourself. Taking you from the beginning. All of the qualities your mother gave you, wrapped in all the experiences from your adolescence and combining them into the beautiful woman you are today. Then add a splash of mystery by carrying yourself with an air of elegance and intimate privacy.
Today is a new day from yesterday. No matter who you are or what your life looks like from Tuesday to Sunday you can set your intention today to be unapologetically you. Stop feeling like that woman over there has it all put together. No one has it all put together. Choose today to be the woman who is mysteriously passionate. Be the woman who has it mysteriously all put together! What sparks your fire and what should be mysteriously frozen?
